Below is a rough guide to my itinerary along with a map. My plans are still pretty loose (especially towards the end of the trip) as I am sure that they will change along the way. I will try and update it as I go with more accurate plans.
(Day 1, 16/02/2010) Fly – London Stansted > Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
(Day 6, 21/02/2010) Fly – Kuala Lumpur > Manila, North Philippines
(Day 7, 22/02/2010) Bus – Manila > Banaue & Sagada, Philippines (rice terraces ‘the eighth wonder of the world’)
(Day 12, 27/02/2010) Fly – Manila > Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines (beautiful islands and incredible diving spots)
(Day 22, 09/03/2010) Fly – Puerto Princesa > Manila
(Day 22) By any means – Travel south through Philippines
(Day 44, 29/03/2010) Boat – Zamboanga City, South Philippines > Sandakan, Malaysian Borneo
(Day 45, 30/03/2010) By any means – Travel along the East coast of Kalimantan, Borneo.
(April) Fly – Pontianak, Kalimantan, Borneo > Jakarta, Java, Indonesia.
(April) By any means – Travel East through Java to Bali, Indonesia
(April) By any means – Travel West from Bali back to Java and onto Sumatra, Indonesia
(May) Fly Padang, Sumatra or Medan, Sumatra > Singapore
(May) By any means – Travel North from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (meeting Gisella!!)
(May) By any means – Travel along the East coast of Malaysia
(June) Cross border from Malaysia into Thailand
(June) Travel towards the North of Thailand
(July) Cross border from Thailand into Laos
(July) Cross border from Laos into Vietnam
(Mid August) Fly home
